Chestnut Farms is committed to connecting communities through Agriculture. Our commitment to local, sustainable and humane livestock farming as a means of education and land preservation underlies all that we do.
We are a diversified family farm located in Hardwick MA. We work hard to preserve agricultural traditions that have existed in New England for generations. Our animals are all naturally raised and free of hormones and antibiotics. We are dedicated to being a model of sustainability for ourselves, our animals and most importantly our land. We raise high quality, pasture-fed beef, lamb pork and poultry. Our very popular meat CSA is the core of our farm business and the members of our CSA are an integral part of our farm family. In addition to wonderful meat each month, our members are enjoy farm visits, an active website that connects communities, a monthly update of farm activities and great recipes. We also sell our meat at farmers markets and through several local retail outlets.

We are diligent stewards of the earth.
